Introduction
Tetrahydrocurcumin is the main whitening active ingredient in natural turmeric root extract. It not only has the strongest tyrosinase inhibitory activity, but also has excellent chemical stability. It is an odorless white powder, thus overcoming the defect of ordinary turmeric extract that is chemically unstable and easily causes skin staining. Ordinary turmeric extract is yellow, has poor chemical stability, and is photosensitivity. Under light, it easily reacts chemically with the skin and causes skin staining.
